Trinity Church Cemetery

DSC_9100.jpg

This photo shoot, from 2013, is one of my favorites ever. In the Financial District of New York resides the Trinity Church whose tiny cemetery is the oldest one in Manhattan. First opened in 1692 as a nondenominational cemetery, it reached its capacity in the 1800s with more than 10k graves. While only a few of those graves still stand in the Trinity cemetery the rest of the burials have remained relatively undisturbed and are now beneath Hudson Park. Alexander Hamilton was buried here.

This necklace was cast from a real raven skull by Billy Bayer. It’s my most favorite necklace and practically my talismin at this point.

I’ve bought many iterations of these saddle shoes from Chelsea Crew because I love them so much I walk their soles off them.

This skirt is vintage from around the late 50s/early 60s. It’s one of my favorites and I absolutely love it.
